About Us

Clyde Diving is a family owned business, started by Danny Watt in 1976 and run by his daughter Elaine who skippers the "Clutha" our purpose built dive boat. We are based at Inverkip Marina, Scotland's premier marina, which is central for all the Clyde wrecks.

The marina has excellent facilities- The Chartroom serves a range of food throughout the day. There are hot showers, coin operated saunas and drying rooms too should you require them. We like to leave the marina early to get to the dive site first. We shot the wreck then sound it in order to give you an accurate dive brief. We use our knowledge, experience and sketches to help you plan your dive. We are always flexible about the wrecks you wish to dive and we will not charge you extra if, for example, you want to dive the "BEAGLE" which is at one end of the Clyde estuary in the morning and the "AKKA" which is at the other end, in the afternoon.

It is also our policy NOT to charge you if we are weathered off. Our Charter rates are based on 12 divers, 2 dives per day for the hard boat. We also cater for smaller groups and individuals simply contact us with your requirements. Both Inverkip and Largs provide a range of quality accommodation, this can, as previously mentioned, be arranged for you at discounted rates.
